It’s 197 pages of research, and it’s a must-read for anyone in business today. Heck, I think it’s interesting reading for anyone that uses the Internet for anything!

The KPCB 2015 Internet Trends Report is full of drama and surprises. In 1995, 0.6% of the world’s population had access to the Internet. By 2014 that number grew to 39%.

In 1995, there were 80 million mobile phone users, By 2014 that number grew to 5.2 BILLION users. That represents a growth spurt that took us from 1% to 73% of the global population.

Most interesting to me is the data portrayed in this graph. It compares the percent of time we spend with various media to the percent of ad dollars spent in each category.
